This intensive 8-hour seminar delivers essential knowledge, evidence-based strategies, and expert-led instruction designed to equip caregivers and professionals with the skills and understanding necessary to effectively support individuals affected by dementia. It is ideal for Nursing homes, assisted living communities, memory care facilities, hospice agencies, home care providers, medical adult centers, senior referral companies, churches, associations, healthcare management companies—any organization involved in senior care or the healthcare industry.

Cancellation Policy

Seminar Details: Our in-person and virtual sessions are available from 8:00am-4:30pm with registration beginning at 7:30am. We offer Saturday sessions to allow for more flexibility and are able to work with various schedules. If you need accommodation, please let the representative know when scheduling. The seminar fee is $200 per person with a $75 cancellation fee. Each participant will receive a student handout notebook. Lunch is on your on. No form of taping, or laptops are permitted in the seminar unless used for the sole purpose of viewing the digital handbook. This seminar is approved for 7 CEUs for nurses. An additional fee of $49 will apply. You have the opportunity to take the path to certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. The Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar is required for those pursuing CDP certification and who qualify through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.
